Ok, theres 3 programs I want to try/download, first, I want to know if anyone used them, and what they think of it, and second, I want to know if anyone found any spyware/adware/etc in them, before I download, them, they are: Total Uninstall (Found it on webattack http://www.webattack.com/get/totaluninstall.html) second, is RegSeeker (http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm) and 3rd, Rainbow Folders (http://www.rainbowfolders.aionel.net/ I actually found this on TechTV)

Hi Comp01,

Total Uninstall and RegSeeker are spywarefree. Not sure about Rainbow Folders, but can't find anything bad about it and that's usually a good sign.

Pieter

Hi comp01 :)

i have used regseeker now for about 2 months. It is a great little program.

It is easy to understand (being a newbie that's great for me!) ;)
There is a vast aray of options to use to clean or check for things in your registry. It also has a backup in case u delete something by mistake.

Like Pieter said there is no spyware in regseeker.
The best part about it, It's free! ;)

Give it a whirl, i think you'll like it.

The other two programs i can't comment on because i've never used them.

Hope this helps.

Hi Comp01

I've used RegSeeker for over a year, and had no problems either spyware-wise or other situations. Unfortunately, can't comment on the other two.

Good Luck!

I've been using TotalUninstall on one of my machines for a short time now. Researched it a fair amount, and based on the good things I read, I chose it over IC5. So far, I like it.

Seems logical to rely on a good uninstaller that knows exactly what to remove ('cause it monitored the install) over a regcleaner that makes an informed guess. Nevertheless, I use JV16 also.

Total Uninstall is the second program that gets installed on a clean install on my machines. I use it to install just about all software after the OS is installed.
It has never caused me any problems.
