View Full Version : Does Defensewall use a lot of system resources?

Thinking of using one of the HIPS type programs like Defensewall. Only using NOD32 and Boclean right now.

For those using Defenswall, is it a drag on system performance? Does it slow your machine down noticeable?

Also considering Cyberhawk in this category.

7772 kb on mine - havent experienced any slowdowns.

CH Services about 8000 (has been seen to add on, but never any influence on PC performance.)
Should be even better with new update coming soon - I heard. Edit; its released just now - see CH post in this forum.
No slowdowns here either.

In my sig you see what I use and they work like butter together. I surf and email and some downloads, but no gaming.

My wife has Defense Wall, Nod and BoClean on her computer,
they work well together, and resources on DW are about the
same as what Rivalen posted, with no noticeable slow downs.

Wife uses DW, because it is easy, no pop-ups, fast

yup! defensewall is great! and a little in resources to. approximately 6.8 kb here...
