No update from Windows Defender since 3rd Jan

I just noticed that last defs for Windows Dedender was on 3rd Jan. Seems a rather long time period to me?

The MS guys are probably taking a holiday lol.
You can always try the current free pc tools antispyware if you are not happy with defender.

jlo check your version should be 1593 also note on defender page is:
Note: If you have version 1.1.1592.0, you must first manually uninstall Windows Defender before you can install this newer version. To configure or remove the existing version, use Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel.
