I noticed that if i quit the control center it says virus warnings will not be displayed, but says nothing about virus protection.
If the control center is shutdown is the AV protection still enabled?

{QUOTE-> If the control center is shutdown is the AV protection still enabled? <-QUOTE}It sure is. This is only the GUI (Graphical User Interface), it is not your protection.
Cheers ;D

Cool, i had hoped this was the case. I can safely install this on the families computer now without fear of anyone turning the av protection off.

The only shortcoming is that if AMON triggers alert on an existing file it will only block access to it without giving the user an option to delete it. Only newly created infected files will be moved to quarantine.

{QUOTE-> ...without fear of anyone turning the av protection off. <-QUOTE}Password Protect the settings and they definitely can't turn anything off ;) ;D
NOD32 Control Centre> NOD32 System Tools> Setup> Protection of Setup Parameters> Setup
Cheers ;D
