View Full Version : Alternatives to Spy Sweeper?

My Spy Sweeper subscription is nearing the time to renew and I would like to know if there are any better antispyware programs out there (Paid or free). I've heard of ewido, Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware... but I like how Spy Sweeper blocks "spy cookies" automatically.

I would like to see if anyone can recommend me a product that has the same or better detection rate as Spy Sweeper and can block "spy cookies" automatically with it's "Smart Shields" like Spy Sweeper does.

Thanks,

Gracie

AVG Anti-Spyware (formerly ewido) has an option to automatically delete cookies.

Hi Gracie,

For a very unbiased & well respected comparison/opinion see:

http://spywarewarrior.com/asw-features.htm

Also note the "Recommended" section. FYI SUPERAdBlocker, will also take care of malware "realtime + scan" & remove all the ads from your browser.

Take Care
