Hi folks, new member here so please bare with me.

In the office I have two desktop systems utilizing high speed Internet (wired cable modem with a router). I just purchased a Dell laptop with both a wired and wireless card because I want to make my entire system wireless in roughly two weeks. Further down the road in about six months the system will need to will be running 3 laptops and two desktops.

So here are my questions.
I know I have to purchase two more wireless cards for the desktops. What else do I need in addition to a wireless cable modem and a wireless router 802.11. It will need to handle all 5 computers a least and it will need to be secure from prying eyes obviously. How to I go about configuring this network. All the computers will have updated definitions of Virus Software, Spybot, SpyBlaster, etc.

Some tips would greatly be appreciated.
I typed this late so if I forgot something please forgive me.
Thanks guys.

Hi

You may wanna go to this page (http://www.grc.com/SecurityNow.htm#72) and read the wifi summaries. Just ctrl-f for "wifi" when you've loaded the page.
