Hello,
Did u download it from the Javacool site?
This error is sometimes caused by existing spyware. Have u had malware problems recently?

snowbound no I haven't had any problems with malware that I am aware of. Yes I downloaded from javacool site. How do I check for malware. I am new to the computer and know little about it.

So u haven't notice any suspicious activity on your system?
Do u have any other security programs? If so, have u scanned your system lately with what u have?
So u have uninstalled and reinstalled SWB already? Why i ask is sometimes this fixes certain issues with SWB.

Snowbound - I downloaded my copy of SpywareBlaster from www.majorgeeks.com and updated to the latest version 3.5.1 at least 9 months ago if my memory is right. I just updated definitions last night and did a NOD32 scan, a Spysweeper and Ad - Aware scan and came away clean. I have never had any issues with SpywareBlaster. ;D

Just to rule out a malware issue it would probably be best to have a HijackThis log analysis.
Just go to this site,
http://gladiator-antivirus.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10517
register and follow the instructions at the link carefully. When finished post your log there(not here) and the malware experts at Gladiators will analyze your log and assist u will malware removal if needed.
If u decide to do this be patient as that forum is very busy. Just check back periodically for replies, assistance.
