french version of Nod32 V2

Good day,

The version 2 of Nod 32 does not seem to be available.
I use version 1 since a few years and am quite glad with it
but do not want to uninstall it to reinstall version 2.

Questions :
1) Will a french version of Nod 32 be soon available ?
2) Is version 2 a better protection than version 1 as they use the same virus signatures data base ?

Pro primo: sure v 2.0 will have french mutation as nod is sold in France.
Pro secundo: v 2.0 sure offers better protection due its advanced heuristic - it can detect eg. most of the newly created malicious worms...

Marie Christine is working hard on localization into the French language. It's not easy ... it takes 250 words to say in French what you can say in English with 2 words. :)

The exact release date has not been arranged yet. Based on the current status, I estimate it might be released along with the next progr. com. update.

Sorry to bug you all again with this *old* thread, but can we hope that the the french version will come with the next beta ? :)
