Windows update problems

Hi,

I have windows XP (french) with SP2.

When I try to download the windows update of this month I receive the message joint with this message??? After that, my system is unusable (nothing work) and I have to manually restart my computer and go to a previous snapshot...

Does somebody know why I received that message/error and how to solve that issue?

I already try a CHKDSK and SFC /scannow with no luck, I still have that problem after...

Hi,

Ok, it appears that it is a problem related with my internet explorer 6.0... So far, I have download the internet explorer 7.0 from windows update page but IE 7.0 doesn't install on my system and I don't know why because I receive no error message of any kind and the url link place on my desktop don't work (Great!).

So now, my question is how do I repair my internet explorer 6.0? I have windows XP (french) with SP2...
