looknstop will not start with windows

looknstop will not start with windows for some reason... i have to start it manualy.. i have it set to system under options.
win xp pro

When you launch it manually, in Look ‘n’ Stop ‘Options’, is your choice for start-up method still there?

When you apply the automatic start method, visit Start \ Run, type: MSCONFIG (enter-It)

Now access the ‘Startup’ page and confirm Look ‘n’ Stop exists as a entry there somewhere…

nope its not there... wonder why it isnt going into the startup un der msconfig?i am selecting auto start as service and clicking apply..
and nothing
