Hi wbcn34, welcome to Wilders.

-{ Quote: "...how do you disable the software?" }-Why would you want to, this exposes your computer to infection.

-{ Quote: "...what is the difference bewteen scan only and scan and clean" }-Scan, only scans and reports the findings.

Scan and Clean takes the appropriate actions as well, depending upon what you have preset NOD32 to do.

If you haven't already, I would suggest a run through the NOD32 Tutorial found HERE (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=37509)

Cheers ;D

you can disable each single module on NOD32. if you want to stop file realtime protection just untick AMON. if you want to disable internet protection just untick IMON and the rest :D Scan only dont clean malware but scan and clean do it :D

Your system shouldn't blue screen at all with NOD32 enabled.

Have you experienced this, and if so, with what hardware and software?

Cheers ;D

I will repeat: ALWAYS LEAVE IT ON, and disregard any advice telling you otherwise ;D
