I've been playing with DFK Threat Simulator and am really surprised at how easily AVG and Antivir guards are disabled. Are there any AVs that resist kill programs?

Thanks, SourMilk out

Take a look at these threads:

Self Protection Needed? (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=157501)

AVs that are vulnerable to being Disabled (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=51396)

Kaspersky and Norton are two well-known AVs which come to mind, that have termination protection. Norton did not have termination protection until later versions {2005 and higher I think}.

If you are looking for a free antivirus, Active Virus Shield (based on Kaspersky) is very resistant to termination.
