I need some opinions...

I just bought Kaspersky Anti-virus for my parents computer, they had Norton internet security 2005 or 2006, I can't remember. But, do you think windows firewall would be good enough, because Kaspersky anti-virus is really a top notch anti-virus, and I don't think the'll need so much extra protection other than a seperate anti-spyware program too, what do you think? If this is on the wrong board, please move this topic, thanks;D

if they are behind a router with the built in firewall, windows firewall is ok.

if not, no... you need a firewall.

make sure you ran the removal tools for norton.
and should be fine.

Yes, i will use the removal tool, and no they are not behind a a nat router, the thing about a firewall is I don't think they'll understand all the nag sreens to allow/not allow that a firewall gives for mostly everything. But that is my question, will having kaspersky av be good enough to have windows firewall?

with kav it should be fine to use the windows firewall.

Also, the norton internet security didn't really give em too many firewall nag screens at all, but they think the computer being slow and having errors is normal, but I know it's Nortons fault.
