While (I think) there's been no official word from Javacool, scuttlebutt is that there's a new program version in the works which is the main reason no updates to the existing one.

If there have been no updates for 3 years then surely Spywareguard in its present form is useless

Hi,
Please see the following thread: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,12411725#12411725
While the real-time scanning portion of the current version of SpywareGuard has been extended about as much as is possible without a complete rewrite, the browser hijacking protection is still very effective and requires no definition updates.
Best regards,

Hi,
I am unable to Update I get this message : >:(
There was an error getting the update information file from thr server. The server may be temporarily unavailable, or there may be a conflict with firewall software installed on your PC. The update information file may have also gotten corrupted during download. Please try again soon
Even after trying again several times I still get the same message.
What should I do ? ??? ?
Thanks in advance for your answer :thumb:
