i know this is a kind of crack-finder site. but i want to know if they are really dangerous. i mean, what kind of attack perform againts visitors?
do they try to install malware, virus or some maliciuos code? i think they do !! but i don't know how to discover when they try to do it :(
iam asking you people 'cause i'am trying to test my defense!! can you recomend me a better way?

Hi!
To be honest, I don't think it's clear what site you are talking about ???
I did a little Googling but can't seem to find a site called "testing your defense."
Anyway, I'm sure some reputable test sites will be posted here for you soon...
On the other hand you can always simply list what (applications) you use for PC security, operating system, and with some details like that and you'll be sure to get some helpful responses.
Also, keep in mind there are several different kinds of defenses for different kinds of "nasties".. Firewall for general access protection, AV and AT for their respective targets, and spyware blocking applications as well.

Well, judging from your lineup there you've got a decent idea of what you are doing ;)
As for the site; someone else will hafta examine for us; I just don't know :P
Doesn't look like a bad place, I do find the privacy statement a little lacking (in my personal opinion).
I'm also sure I saw something about test sites on the forum today but I'm not finding the thread.. I'll take another look and post a link here if I find it.

It's a poll, but you will find a few sites to check out as well as input from several members on such sites and their methodology.

Hope you get some good info over there!
I've removed the link to the site you were asking about; upon closer examination I did find hacker tutorials, etc for download and we'd rather not have anything to do with that sort of thing ;)

No mistake at all my good man; you were asking to find out - with legitimate purpose, and I was the one who asked which site ;D
Now we all know, anyway! lol

Hi xTINcTion :)
Here's a thread of Tassie devils with a few exploit and system tests you may want to have a look at
SYSTEM TESTS (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=6341)
Hope these prove useful configuring your system ;)
and you can also use the poll thread as reference for members views/opinions on the various test sites

The following are okay sites to use for free online tests. I have used all of them at one time or another with the exception of Firehole... not familiar with that one but it was recommended on another computer forum. Hope this helps. :)
