I am just trying to figure out why it takes so long to restore my backup image? I have a dual core 2050 Gateway laptop with 1 GB of ram. I am using my usb external drive to restore. I have 4 usb 2.0 ports and the other one that is taken up is my usb mouse. The approx time to resore a 11Gb is 1 hour. I have used other versions of acronis and it only takes like 8 minutes before. When you boot with cd does it install USB 2.0 drivers or just 1.1? I am using Acronis True Image Home v10. Any suggestions please let me know.
