I have setup backup rules on the backup location with TI10 as follows:

Max size: 200GB
Max number of backups: 20
Max number of days to keep backup 14

I have an daily incremental backup set at that location. What will happen when the location runs up to 200GB? Will it automatically consolidate when it hits one of those limits?

Thanks in Advance.

mlai,

They should consolidate when you reach your limits. I’ve only tested this with smaller limits; it all seems to works fine. I might note that if the size of your backup files permits, you might set your parameters to avoid consolidation, as the consolidation process seems to add greatly to the time required to finish a backup, even on the small amount of data I tested.
