No backup to network?

I have Acronis True Image 9.0 Home and want to backup a harddisk to a network share. Although I can see my network servers, I cannot backup to one of them with the bootable CD (invalid filename etc. etc.). But I can restore from the network share via bootable CD. What's wrong?

Is your network at home or at work?

Either way it is possible that you don't have write access to the share.
