Is there a way for you to disable virus?

I am working on this project. And the file i want to download a file that is detect as a virus. I wonder if i can disable the file's virus(so my computer won't get infect) and still be able to use the file.

some files can be repaired but its not always the case.

if its a false positive, you can just exclude the file and then run teh file as normal.

if its a genuine malware, then ur better off just deleting the file.
