How can I make sure that Sun JAVA can get to the internet? My wife plays Yahoo games and it seems Java can't get there.

What version of Sun JRE you using?
Is the Look ‘n’ Stop DLL module filtering activated? Ensure ‘Java HotSpot *’ is authorized.

Sounds like a bad / incomplete install of the Sun Java 1.5.09, visit the below link and check the java test and tell me if it works for you and post the giving information from it.

If it fails this test, you probably need to uninstall that Sun JRE version and visit http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp and download / install the recent version which I believe is Sun JRE v1.5.10

Hi WilliamP
Dancing duke is the applet, if you see the duke and it’s dancing, you should be-able to see just above it information such as Vendor, Version, Operating System, OS version.
Save alot of time maybe, if you just uninstall the current version and install the recent version
