...indicates that my backup image is password-protected. As I expected. But when I click open, the Explore Backup Archive window closes and I'm not prompted to enter my password. Nothing happens thereafter.--Any help?

Hello lorenzobo,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
We are sorry for the delayed response.
Could you please describe the issue in more details? What is the exact name and build of the product that you use. You can find this information in the Help -> About dialog.
Please clarify where did you store the image archive.
Please also create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317). Then submit a request for technical support (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/support/) with the subject indicating that you want to contact Aleksandr Isakov. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.
Thank you.

Acronis Support,
Thanks for responding. Fortunately, last night I went to the Acronis web site and reinstalled True Image after disabling my anti-virus and anti-spyware. Everything now seems to be OK. If I have any further problems I'll let you know.
Thanks.
