Ran trial version of TDS this evening and discovered iehelper.dll. Can't delete through TDS. Can't identify with explorer. Do I need to delete this file? If so, suggestions.
Thanks.

Hi ReaEub
Welcome to Wilders!!
Can you please download and run HijackThis from
http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/hijackthis.zip
and scan the system but do *not* try to fix anything yet as many of the items listed are necessary, instead press the "save log" button and copy and paste the log here for someone to review and advise on.

Hello ReaEub,
Did TDS detect it? Would surprise me if it did, as it's spyware, calling home.
Via Dan's suggestion using hijackthis is the safest way to detect where it is and getting rid of it with the registry keys.

Hi ReaEub,
Unfortunatley there are several files in use that are called IeHelper.dll, several of them are bad news.
Most of them are BHO´s (Browser Helper Objects) which TDS should be able to remove if all IE and Explorer windows are closed.
Have you tried that?
Anyway, showing us the HijackThis log as Dan advised would very likely tell us which one it concerns.
Regards,
Pieter
