newbe need help

Hi all i just installed Ghost wall and need to no if i should turn off the windows firewall and is this firewall good to go right out of the box. I really like the gui of this program but if i have to make rules i am sorry to say that is not my cup of tea.

yes u should disable the windows firewall.

as for being ready out of teh box, u may want to use the new DEFAULT ruleset. go to C:\WINDOWS\System32 and delete the file called ghstwall.fir then restart GhostWall.

that should be sufficient but if u play online games or use p2p, then u will need to create some rules.

read through the forum, "one simple question", i just learned how to use it. if you have questions email me. it is built for someone who wants complete control of incoming and outbound traffic. ask hermes and tree too. they helped me so much.
