;D Hi guys between AntiVir Personal & AVG6 Free which one uses the least amount of ram and resources.

I have an old/slow computer running WinME. AVG & AntiVir PE both use VERY small resources. I used AVG free before. I now use AVPE. For real-time monitors...

1) AVG & AVPE both use only ~2% system resources.

2) As to memory, AVG uses ~500K as I recall. AVPE uses ~347K.

If you consider small footprints for paid AVs, IMHO the best are...

EZ Antivirus [$20], DrWeb Home edition [$25], F-Prot [$29], NOD32 [$39].
