I've also posted this question in the SSM forum, but I usually get quicker results here:

How can I set a trusted IP for an app like ewido (updates) Whats Running (WhatsRunning.com)? A program that only has one or two sites to visit to get the information it needs.

In SSM 2.2.0.600 there are two checkboxes under <Rules> <Applications> <Network> (lower half of screen) I set them both to (?) executed the app I was concerned with. SSM pop-up box asked for permission to access site. Just copy the IP into <Network Rules> under <Add Address> Checkboxes now have checkmark in (upper box) Allow access to trusted addresses, (lower checkbox) is Allow access to un-trusted address. Click deny.
