I have the 30 day trial, and NOD32 won't update! I have tried the manual update, but it asks for a password. Since I'm not a registered user, I don't have a password/username. Do I have to register, or is this the end of my trial?(I have only used NOD32 for a week or two.)

It sounds like the end of your trial, you will have to purchase the commercial version.

Trial version can update only virus bases....
To download new core/modules you need login/password...
You can try download new install package with new core/modules.

Please remember that it is crucial to uninstall the trial version before installing the commercial one. I recommend that you follow these steps:
- download the commercial version using your UP
- uninstall the trial version and restart the machine
- install the commercial version you downloaded
- update NOD32 to the most current version
