View Full Version : Security Privilege Problem

I have a clean install of True Image 9.1 Server on a clean install of windows server 2003 R2 and I did a test back up using the administrator account and everything worked. As soon as I added a role to the server and set it up with active directory (this is the only server on the network and no clients have attached), I now get error messages when I try to run my test backup task and the message indicates that a security privilege (Error 1314)is not held by the client?

Any ideas?

Hello MarkOverstreet,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATISWin/).

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Could you please do the following in order to re-install Acronis Scheduling Service?

- Download and run schedmgr.exe (http://www.acronis.com/files/support/schedmgr.exe) application;

- Start the Command Prompt from Start -> Programs -> Accessories menu;

- Run the following commands in the folder you saved the file to:

service stop
service uninstall

- Close schedmgr;

- Replace schedhlp.exe and schedul2.exe files in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2 folder with the files from this ZIP archive (http://download.acronis.com/support/scheduler.zip).

- Run schedmgr application once again (same way as before);

- Issue the following commands:

service install
service start

If the issue persists, please collect schedul2.log and schedreport.txt the way described in this previous post of mine (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=826680&postcount=11). Then submit a request for technical support (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/my/support/). Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

Thank you.
