Signature update oddity

Just joined the forum because of this oddity that I am seeing.

I have signature database updates set-up as "offer". I am getting an update offer that reads:

Installed version: 1.544 (20031027)
Update version:
Update size: 236218 bytes

Yes, the update version is blank, which I have not seen before. Thought I'd check on this before accepting this update.

got the same update message. NOD updated the advanced heuristics module only, i believe, because the virus signature database version stayed the same:

NOD32 Antivirus System information
Virus signature database version:***1.544 (20031027)
Dated:***Monday, October 27, 2003
Virus signature database build:***4004

Advanced heuristics module version: 1.004 (20031028)
Advanced heuristics module build:***1037

There must have been something else in that update. I didn't notice that the update version was blank. I just said ok when NOD32 stuck the update screen in my face and asked permission to update. I did NOT get any adv. heuristics module update:

So did I get an update or what????? When the archive support module version was updated recently, I did not get that either. I had to uninstall NOD32 then go to the website and download and install the latest version there in order to get the update. Will I have to do that this time also?

You did not get the update automatically. Just check you update setting.
