hi, i'm away atm and i'm using xp to download some PDFs, then i'm going to use a linux livecd to learn some stuff in the PDFs.

one of the PDFs is a rar, but there isn't a program associated with rar's. i'm going to use tugzip to decompress it, but i can't remember the easiest way to cleanly uninstall it afterward (i'm not allowed to make any changes to the computer i'm using, so when i'm finished archives have to be associated to the native archiver)

if i make a restore point before i install tugzip when i use that restore point will tugzip disappear? i'm not worried about any registry enteries. i just need tugzip off the computer and the native archiver working again. thanks.

You can try 7-zip portable (http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable) or any other portable archiver aplications.
Open 7-zip, find the file on the HDD, extract it and then delete 7-zip.
