I have a 150Gb NTFS partition that I am trying to restore. It is discovered by the Acronis Disk Director Suite's Recovery Expert (after about 2 hours of running) but as soon as I click the NEXT button to restore the partition I get a blanks window titled Acronis Recovery Expert (Not Responding) and 100% CPU use at 8mbytes of memory usage by diskdirector.exe.
I am concerned leaving my computer running at 100% CPU all day long, especially with a program that seems to have crashed. Is there any way to know if it is really working or is the blank screen the way it is supposed to be working?
Version 10.
Thanks for any ideas.
