Hello guys,
because of the policies I cannot provide too much support in Wilders forum but I only can post general talking about CA AntiSpyware.
That is correct because CA has got an official support website to contact:
http://home3.ca.com/support/defaultnew.aspx?sc_lang=en-US
some of your questions can find answers to the following CA weblink:
http://home3.ca.com/Support/techsupport/antispyware.aspx#
For malwares you think PP or CA AntiSpyware do not detect you can contact me directly at rossano.ferraris@libero.it
Kind regards
-Rossano

Is this what is called spamming for your company product?

Hi,
As far as I'm concerned it is not spamming !!!
It is just giving info about where to find some info and about how to get in direct contact in case you have a question about a new malware.
I really don't see any issue of spamming.
It's just that the Wilders Security Forum doesn't host a dedicated forum for PestPatrol/CA-AntiSpyware.
So I consider the posting from Rossano not as spamming.
Rossano was just giving info, and I would like to thank Rossano for that!
Oh, BTW, I was here at the Wilders board (as former mod) from almost day one.

The second and third link in post #1 of this thread you may be correct about in your statement. The first link posted, not so sure about.

In another thread here, Rossano was getting support type questions, and it looks like to me he is just trying to direct these questions to the proper place.

Cloudcroft, you may also be correct with your statement. But do you think it would have be better if the responce had been placed in that other thread you spoke of?It is not a big deal to me but just to start a new thread like that out of the blue seemed like spam.

The first link is about all CA Consumet Tech Support.
The second link is only for CA AntiSpyware and my email is for new malwares not detected by PP and False Positive you want to report to me ;)
Thanks

Again I say it is no big deal but your first and second link does state shopping cart, checkout, order status,etc... which seemed like you were selling the product as much as giving info on it.

Thanks and regards
