Hi futurefriend,
SpywareBlaster and Spybot S&D will still be useful, even if you use Mozilla exclusively.
IE-Spyad will not really be necessary. But the author has a site about Netscape/Mozilla that is very usefull:
http://www.staff.uiuc.edu/~ehowes/btw/ns7/ns7-opts.htm
HijackThis is a very powerful trouble-shooting tool, but is does not make it´s own decisions about good or bad. It just follow the user´s instructions and is very capable of ruining your setup if used improperly.

Hi futurefriend.
Firebird and Mozilla don't have spyware.
Firebird is a fast browser and is customisable.
I have 4 browsers on my computer and they co-exist with no problems.
There is a forum at mozillazine where you can monitor the new nightlies and follow the progress of Firebird. ;)
I hope that you enjoy Firebird.

a recently updated version of Firebird call BlackDiamond is available. I comes with a win installer and is preconfigured with 4 or so popular extensions! For sum1 just getting into FB its a nice way to jump in.

As Tester said though u can haave any # of browsers, just install them in different locations.
