Two months ago I tried to partition my C drive for the first time. After an Acronis "error 100" in its DOS stage, WinEx told me that C was now 54Gb & the still only drive, while DD10 said 76Gb & the only drive - 22Gb hidden to WinEx.
Many reports sent to Acronis later, they suggested:
1# run DD10 in manual
2# resize C downwards a fraction.
Now both WinEx & DD10 read C as 76Gb.
Praise ujah!
I guess that giving DD10 a problem of what to do with some unallocated drive caused WinEx to get involved & discover the missing space.
Maybe worth trying if you have a significant discrepancy between WinEx & DD10.:)
