How about adding a java based text only chatting system so we can chat in real time about subjects ????

I don,t think it to be a good idea. It might make the forum stagnant as people will just chat about their problem and might not bother to make posts that help manmy people.
Sorry, I will disagree strongly.

It may spoil the forum. It will make the whole forum stagnant like aigle said.

I doubt the forums official response won't be any different than this thread -> IRC Chat for Wilders (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=142114).

If Mike or Paul wish to add further comment they shall, regardless the response from the linked thread should suffice as an official response and as such this thread is closed.
