M$ always succeeds to meet the average. Why? Because it's MICROsoft. ;D
Best regards,

You can guess, what I voted for. http://www.wilderssecurity.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
IE7 - part of OS, it is fast, secure, blocks all cookies and mallware as well.
Windows Defender - I just do not know worse AS, except fake AS of course.
Outlook Express - I need only notification, receiving & sending emails (POP Peeper).
Windows Live Messenger - I use Miranda (AIM, Google Talk, ICQ, IRC, Yahoo, WLM).

lol I voted for None too. The only thing I can think of is the OS. Windows XP is better than Linux (for example) for games like Call of Duty 2 and new games.

While not on the poll-list, I have a high regard for all the apps of MS Office 2003. Yes, there are much less expensive (and even free) alternatives, but judging solely on features, capability and world-wide acceptance, I don't think it has any equal.

1. Office 2003 (Hands down)
2. Win XP (When M$ stop supporting this, I'll move onto Ubuntu, hopefully)

Voted IE7. Works well for me. And kinda more conservative than MF2 now ... Great security improvements and I use it the most of MF and IE :) .

I have to agree with Office 2003 and I also think Office 2007 will be a winner. I have 2 licenses for the Retail version of 2003 Professional and I will gladly shell out the bucks for 2 copies of 2007.
I've looked at a lot of the cheaper and free stuff and it always falls short for what I need in some form of fashion.

Sorry to say I say NONE. I wish I could have at least picked one of them because it always makes me look like a Microsoft Basher and I really am not. :(

Too bad programming software like Visual Studio or MS Money are not there in the lost to choose, those are some genuinely good programs from MS, also SQL. The ones on the list are all average or below average.

I posted none . However if I should include more products than the listed , I would definitely say :
Microsoft Office is the best office application I have ever seen and I can never find something to replace it because it is the best
The operating system(s) -> YES , excellent .
However the built-in applications (Live Messenger , Outlook Express , IE7) can be improved . May be they are doing them the average to leave the other companies something to eat ;D ;D ;D

Office 2003 is superior to the closest competitor, OpenOffice, in my opinion. OpenOffice isn't bad at all, but I've always managed to find features that I needed that it lacks. And considering I get 100% legal Microsoft Software for $20 or less, the price isn't an issue.

OO is the best thing to have happened to those of us who can't/don't need the MS Office features or are willing to pay the hefty price tag for it, updates included.

Same here . I use OO in my own laptop in addition to Microsoft Works 8 . I find them complement each other very well

Where from ? In Bulgaria , the Office is really expensive application . Standart edition costs about 460 USD and almost nobody can afford buying MS Office for 460 USD . I would definitely pay $20 for MS Office
Microsoft Works 8 costs about 15 USD , though :)

None of the listed. But i have to say that i use Windows. So maybe in functionality (features, supported apps, graphics...) it's the best OS. Lets not play the same music over and over. Hiting the same key, whatever.
IT'S NOT ALL BAD! What OS do you use?

MS Office is hard to beat, but OpenOffice is good enough for the majorities
Windows has key applications that prevents Linux/other OS growth. This includes MS Office
