I didn't notice it, really. My colleague has gone to Prague to install them, but I thought it would take much more time to get them running :-) Frankly, even more new servers are still on the way :-)

Next month I'll have all of them included, I'm just figuring out how to make it look good and be easy to understand at the same time (which is not that easy) :)

ideal cool.
I should have nod32 installed by then.
hopefully my dad will like it and let me install it after letting him read the eset uk site and me showing him it on our old pc.
its annoying because if it wasnt for me we would still be using norton and he is glad i persuaded him to change to f-secure now i want to change again for the better.

Why not take f-secure off, put nod on and let him see it running for even just a few days? That way he can compare things himself?
Or get him to call a UK reseller (ie me!) and I'll presuade him ;D

trials update from a different set of servers normally, so I wouldn't have expected the new servers to be in the list of servers for trials...

as webourbusiness said trials update from different servers . Today I installed trial version on a client machine and I noticed trial version are currently not using the new servers . New servers are available for paid clients only at the moment

The new server list is only updated at each successful update directly from the ESET update servers. An update from a mirror does not have the same effect.
If you are on a LAN, check the mirror server instead.
Cheers :)

I remember we discussed days ago your problems (with NOD32 and possible currupted Windows) . Have you managed to install NOD32 over the existing installation and then reinstall ? I guess you update from internet , have tried to open Control Center -> Uodate -> Setup -> and then see them

I re-installed over the top as you guys suggested and it seemed to fix the problem. I had the updater set to one of the servers i have always used, although a week ago i changed it to Choose Automatically....someone broke in or at the least attempted to do so via the nod kernel right after that.........so i turned off Choose Automatically...

Of course, if ESET removes a particular server, or if a particular server is overloaded, NOD32 will be able to download updates only if the automatic server selection is enabled.

I understand that Marcos...in the past, should a server be down, i would simply choose another server....what i was writing and wondering about was whether or not there would be an increase in the chance of a rogue server downloading a infected file if i always opted for Choose Automatically........maybe a silly question...if so would like to know why...
