Image using a SATA drive

Is there a issue creating an image with a SATA drive? I'm using ATI v.7.0 and it does not see a slave drive connected to an IDE cable.

I've no problem formatting the slave drive using Partition Magic 8.0, or copying file to that drive.

Have not had any difficulties, on my machine when imaging from master to slave.

SATA and slave drive? SATA each connect to their own port and do not have slave/master differentiation.

I've used ATI through various versions and haven't had a problem backing up or restoring IDE or SATA drives, including SATAs in RAID 1.
