Port 1027 fails the 'Shields Up' test. It is closed but not stealthed. What rule(s) do I add and where in the list do the rule(s) go? I am a relative beginner.

Thank you.

1st, you must make certain that you are actually testing the firewall and not your router. Do you sit behind a router? If so, then your router is being tested, not Kerio.

Also, make sure you don't use the default ruleset. It can be tightened up considerably. Look here (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,8023708) for the better replacement and instructions for installing it, using it, etc.

Remember, kerio 2.1.5 is a rule based firewall, so it will take some getting used to and you need to be willing to hand edit rules and understand some things about the internet(like TCP/IP TCP, UDP, ICMP, IGMP, etc.).

Cheers,
