View Full Version : Bitdefender 10 : "eats were detected during the scan process." ???

"eats were detected during the scan process"
For the last 2 days, I get this message in bitdefender after a quick scan when I double click on the event in the Events panel. And no, no letters are missing, that's te whole message :-\ Anyone ever saw that before? Really strange.

Nothing got detected , here is the result of the scan from the log file:

Weird? what are eats?? never heard of them before, maybe you should email bitdefender support and ask them :blink:

Probably a bug as the only logical message would be "threats were detected during the scan process". And another bug because the actual log shows absolutely no infections...

Maybe that is another good reason for me to steer clear of BD.
But I never heard of it either!???

Are you sure you are not pulling a Lodore, and coining new words?

I emailed Bitdefender support but haven't heard from them yet.
But I think the text should be "No threats were detected during the scan process." Probably just a small display bug in the interface as mentionned above by Firecat.
