Synchronizing with the operation system hangs

when I try to restore a img the program hangs -- see image below:

Any idea why?

One of our clients had a similar issue (process freezes on "Synchronizing with the operation system" message) but this was when they restored under Bootable CD.

What image did you restore and where? Did you try to boot to the restored system anyway?

It was long time since your post and a new build (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/support/updates/) is available, try it and see if it helps.
