Prevx is orange how can i get it to green again?

Colors of the icon :
Green - no malware detected.

Amber - an unknown or unverified program is being run.

Red - malware detected and blocked.

Maybe a reboot will fix the color.

Open the console and check the recent activity - if any amber or red check out the name of the process


Next check the jail - is the holding cell occupied? if so what is it - if you think its malware drag it to jail or you could put it on probation


If you are sure you can delete from the jail

I had an alert for the paragon drive backup drivers a few weeks ago - delted them realised I'd made a mistake and then reinstalled - by this time prevx and co had changed the db so it no longer alerted

The Amber status only means that the file has not been determined either way. If it's at all popular then it should be determined quickly, otherwise you can always write into support. It's not, by any means, an indication of risk, so the next known good program that runs will change the status back to green. These are usually updated quickly, anyway.
