Hi all ;D
I'm not sure if it's Zone Alarm but my internet browsing seems very slow and the Zone Alarm icon flashes a lot, can someone help me with selecting which Programs to allow access/no access for faster connections to pages? If this is the cause, it may be my ISP.

Also is SUF60RunTime a spy ware?

and can someone help explain what the following programs showing on Zone Alarm are ?

What is COM Surrogate ?
KBD EXE ?
MS DTC Console program?
Project 64.exe ?
Putty.exe ?

catscradle77,

I only know "putty.exe", which is a standard SSH-client. Are you using SSH connections to other servers??

For the other apps someone else must help ;)

Hi catscradle77,

Welcome to Wilders!

I would strongly recommend that you download DCS's Port Explorer trial version so you can see all active and listening connections. In particular, you should keep an eye on the the "Remote" tab.

You can download it from;

http://www.diamondcs.com.au/portexplorer/index.php?page=download

Also, can you please download and run HijackThis from

http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/hijackthis.zip

and scan the system but do *not* try to fix anything yet as many of the items listed are necessary, instead press the "save log" button and copy and paste the log here for someone to review and advise on.

Thanks!
