I am using True Image Workstation 9.1.
Because I have some corrupt files on a partition which cannot be deleted or moved, I have used the option to restore only files and folders so I can exclude the problem folders/files.
The problem I have is that when the restoration takes place the folders (all the drive minus the corrupt ones are getting restored to a folder (C) below the root of the partition.
Steps: Format the partition to get rid of original bad files
Restore > Files and folders > Select the files > select the root of the partition as the restore location > Restore
Result: the files all start at a folder level below the root:
C:\(c)\Documents and Settings\
C:\(c)\Windows\
etc.
Anyone point me to why they are not getting restored to the root level?
