Actually there is at least a PDF-Manual available at http://www.grisoft.com/doc/downloads-results/lng/us/tpl/tpl01?prd=triasw

Which is in english only at the moment.

I know that, but a useless help button in the proggie is not very professional, do you agree?

That is not so bad actually. I find it really embarrassing that an enterprise such as Grisoft not offer a German support. To sell they want the product, offer however no real German support. That is ridiculous. :thumbd:

Of course there is German support. For all Grisoft Products you can obtain german support here: http://www.jakobsoftware.de/Avg/supportanfrage.php

Especially for ewido anti-spyware and AVG Anti-Spyware you can get German support at http://www.ewido.net/de/contact/

Vinzenz

Glad to say that I have just downloaded the helpfile manually. I would have been more ecstatic to have the upgrade which would permit updating to be automatic, which is what I paid for with a lifetime's licence for Ewido 4!

I just got the help file on an automatic update. Looks as though they have kept their word.

Have a good day,

Yes, I just got my help file too from automatic update.

A new installer for 7.5.0.50 is now available

Will we be auto updated to the new version or do we have to uninstall and reinstall?

7.5.0.50 will also be available via update in a few minutes/hours... :)

Hi Shoe,

It will be auto updated. You don't need to uninstall and re-install it...

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=855953&postcount=26

But the updated version may be a little confusing to the users, as the version number still remained at 7.5.0.47 after update, although the new installer is at version 7.5.0.50.

7.5.0.50 update with Help file delivered and installed very smoothly via live update. Program restart required, but no reboot ::)

I have just downloaded the update manually and the version is now 7.5.0.50 plus. Will this now autoupdate from now on?

The enforced manual update several times daily has become tiresome.

I'm sure you'll find out if you wait a day. ;D
