I just recently installed IE7 rc1. I could not find any info on the A-Squared website about whether it is compatible. I saw the question asked in their official support forum back in August, but no one ever bothered to answer the OP. Anyway, I uninstalled A Squared Free before attempting to install IE7 to avoid any possible conflicts. Does anyone here know if they are compatible? Does anyone know why Emsisoft is so lame that they won't answer this basic question? Is their product support any good????

Since IE is still not a finished product there probably is no answer till someone trys it. I`m sure once the final release of IE7 is available EMSI will do the necessary testing for compatability. They may be waiting on the final release of Vista as well.

One would think that someone at EMSI would install IE7 release candidate 1 and check it out. It may not be "finished," but the word is that Microsoft plans to offer it by Windows Updates by the end of the year. I really like A-Squared, but I had already seen some problems - like the GUI being too large for my screen in safe mode in XP SP2. What really bothers me is the deafening silence to the question that has already been posted at their official forum for almost a month. How much effort is it to say "yes" "no" or "we are working on it"?

I am using the IE7 release candidate together with a-squared for quite some time now without any problems.
