Does this thing even work? I tried googling some known bad (porn ;D ) sites that install spyware and it comes up clean on all of them! Siteadvisor on the otherhand says they do browser exploits.

Some spyware pages uses a script that redirects to the actual page, so when the link checker scan the page only see the script, not the malware.

this extension actually works. I"ve tested on numerous websites. :) Try some VX sites and you'll see it in action. ;D

When I've tried it at some ahem, bad sites :o, it will check a bazillion scripts occasionally. Show me a known bad site where it works!

Try the Eicar site. Click on any one of the files. http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm
