I performed a fresh install of WinXP onto a PIII, 733Mhz Gateway PC. It has a 40 Gb harddrive on it, but that drive only shows a capacity of 7.86 Gb after I installed WinXP.
I was advised to try Acronis Disk Director to uncover and add the unallocated space. I have version 10, demo. It recognizes an additional 7.86 Gb of unallocated space, but it will only allow me to partition up to that 7.86 Gb. I have a few questions:
- Will the full version see the entire remaining unallocated space?
- Will the full version allow me to add that space to the existing partition so that one partition will encompass the entire drive?
- How do I do that?
Thanks!
Kevin
