Hello,

I have just installed three new PCs running Windows XP & Office XP which connect to a Exchange Server for email. I have problem where Outlook will crash on the PCs mentioning the module rpcrt4.dll, the error is basically identical on each PC. If I remove the Exchange service from the mail profile it works ok, but ofcourse I need it.

I found this article on the Microsoft KB (820673) which describes the problem I'm having. Its says to removed any antivirus software, which I did and the problem has disappeared. I'm not sure what version of Nod I'm running (it is on a clients' site), but I'm pretty sure its v2.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ryan

Hi. I solve the problem installing the version 2.000.9 of IMON.

I'm not sure this solve the problem on your system too, but try to
1. re-download NOD32 from the ESET web site,
2. uninstall NOD32 and, after rebooting, delete the folder where you have previously installed NOD32 (i.e. C:\Program Files\Eset).
If you can't uninstall NOD32, try to do it inizializing your system in safe mode,
3. install the version you've downloaded at point 1

You can also contact Eset in order to obtain the version 2.000.9 of IMON.

Please, let us know.
Bye.
