View Full Version : Can't make a backup

What an awful company this is -- no way to get simple answers! For some reason, I go through the usual process to append a backup image, and it goes all the way to where it should start making the image -- but doesn't. At the top it says "Commit Pending Operations."
Is there a human being anywhere in this company who can tell me what to do?

Where have you tried for your solutions so far?
Only you know what operating system you are using, what version and build number of which Acronis product you have installed, what you are appending to, what have you done so far, the content of any error messages, what backup media are you using, whether the computer is a PC , a laptop, a workstation, a server or something completely different.
You really need to include a bit more detail so that readers can understand what the problem is and how it may be fixed.

Hello Janes,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
Could you please do as Xpilot has suggested and provide us with the more detailed information on the problem?
- Which Acronis product do you use exactly?
Please let us know the full version name and build number which can be found in the Help -> About... menu accessible via the main program Window.
- What operating system is installed on your computer?
- What exact actions did you try to perform?
- Have you received any error, warning or informational messages?
- If yes, provide the exact text of these messages;
- Let us know when you receive these messages exactly;
- Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.
Thank you.

Could this be a V7/USB drive compatability issue?
Why not download the V10 trial and see if that does any better.
