Why is there a 3 month delay between the Retrospective/ProActive Tests, and the On-demand comparatives test.

I dunno, it kinda annoys me.

More realistic they need time to gather the right samples I guess.

The ProActive test uses 3 months old antivirus (The ones from the February/August test) against malware that appeared during those 3 months, so the samples are new to all programs. That's also means that e.g. the November comparative will test the heuristic detection that the antivirus had in August.
